Did a lot of research before hiring Summit plumbers. Checked Better Business Bureau, looked into the veracity of the Google reviews, and got a few quotes from a few companies in Ottawa. Art, the owner, was a no fuss, genuine person when I got the quote and every interaction thereafter. I was skeptical of the perfect 5 star rating but after the team came over and completed the job efficiently, accurately, and with a friendly disposition, I am happumy to add 5 stars. I don't give out recommendations often as everyone has different tastes but I was completely satisfied with the work and price point. Art and his team deserve the 5 stars. Our experience with Summit was sincerely great. We live downtown and have an old house. That old house had old sewer lines and also a lead water line--both needing replacement. I believe we found Artiom and his company, Summit, online. He arrived for an assessment near immediately. He gave us a reasonable quote and stuck to it. He helped with our building permit (he is savvy in that regard). No complications. Summit's people were inside and outside our house a bunch. But, they were super pleasant and polite, and they threw down drop cloths etc. It's obvious that customer experience and service are important to Artiom. The municipality approved the work with flying colours. I'm grateful we ran across Summit (and Artiom), and believe we've now got a plumber for anything else we need regarding plumbing.

Following a flood in our basement, Summit Drain and Plumbing have been absolutely amazing in being able to schedule work immediately on the following day (on the weekend too!). What can I say, these guys are amazing! We had another plumber snake our kitchen drain cleanout and he discovered that the line was blocked with grease or had collapsed. After waiting two days for a quote from them we called Summit Drain as they specialize in sewer and drain line replacement (and their pricing is upfront on their website). Artiom came and provided a quote that day for the two options we were considering (replacing the kitchen drain line or full drain line replacement under the basement floor).
After we applied for building permits, Summit took care of all the rest. The full replacement was a week start to finish, removing 25 feet or so of cast iron pipe under the basement floor, installing new PVC and ABS pipe, clean outs, a backwater valve, and replacing the cast iron sanitary stack. The backwater valve and sanitary stack weren’t included in the original quote but Art added them at no extra charge. I always felt that we were in good hands working with Summit. They were honest, professional, and committed to doing things right.

Although replacing the entire house's plumbing sounded like a daunting task, their professional assessment ensured minimal openings in the ceiling and walls, making the repairs seem less challenging. I called called Summit Plumbing to connect my new septic system to my house. It turned out to be a big job which was eventually expanded to include roughing in 2 bathrooms and moving my laundry connections. They did a great job on the plumbing work for our old house renovation. They were very thoughtful when they were planning how to run the pipes. They worked very hard on site, no breaks. They did lots of digging to run pipes underground which was not we initially thought they would do. It wasn't easy. But they said they want to do it right and it could also make the basement ceiling finish much easier. And they didn't asking extra money. We really appreciated their hard work. The inspector gave the comments saying they did a very good job. All pipes were tested. Inspection was passed with no deficiencies.
